A New Site Design Is Here

Posted in: Recording64||Tags: archive, mixing, recording, responsive, rss, website redesign

Got great news for you today! Recording64 just got a complete website makeover!

It took me a lot of time, more than planned actually, but I’m happy to say it is finally ready. Things have changed on different layers, but essentially this new layout was developed to be more functional to you. Here’re some of the changes.

More Than Just A Fresh New Look

Starting with the look, we have a spanking new logo, the color scheme changed and everything is arranged to look more modern; all of this without swapping theme or changing things too much… I didn’t want you to feel lost on a completely different new site.

Moving on, I improved the overall readability by carefully choosing font faces, sizes and other minor details that contribute to give you a smooth reading experience.

Furthermore, the site is now fully ‘responsive’, meaning it adapts itself to the device you’re visiting it from – a must in 2016. This way it will always be easily accessible, no matter if you’re in the studio on your 27” display or on the road with your smartphone or tablet. Brilliant.

Easier Access To Archives And Notifications

If you’re looking for an older post, now it’s much easier to find what you’re after. A new “All Posts” page is now accessible via the “Articles” link at the top of the site and the new Sitemap page gives you a bird’s-eye view on the entire site, with a clear list of each page, category and article.

To keep you in touch, now you can be notified on new posts or follow-up comments via email and subscribe to full or filtered by category RSS feeds (accessible via the Sitemap page).

Share The Knowledge

There is much more than this but, to be honest, there’re too many little things – most of which are happening behind the curtains – I just forgot about them… Anyway, overall I’m satisfied by the way the site looks now and I really hope this new design may help you even more with your audio endeavors!

If you dig this new Recording64, would you make me a tiny favor and share the site with one of your friends? A post on Facebook, a quick tweet… Choose your weapon, share the knowledge and help R64 grow. Your support is invaluable!

Thanks for being a reader and enjoy the new site!
